 Types of physical features 

There are many physical features on Earth. The main types include:

1. Mountains – High, steep areas formed by tectonic movements.

2. Plains – Flat, fertile areas often used for farming.

3. Plateaus – Elevated flatlands.

4. Deserts – Dry regions with little rainfall.

5. Rivers & Lakes – Freshwater sources.

6. Oceans & Seas – Vast saltwater bodies covering most of the Earth.

Each feature creates unique environments and supports life in different ways.
